2020.07.04 13:18 Toxinz1181 How did conscription for the Mozambican Civil War work?
I know that conscription wasn't limited by age, since child soldiers existed. Could individuals that lived in another country who were in Mozambique at the time of the draft be subjected to being drafted to fight in the civil war?

2020.07.04 13:18 Syriuzz Stress and anxiety without kids
I can't fathom how people with kids live nowadays, it's insane outside. You still see a lot of people having kids and I just ask "do you even have any awareness?" The present is already filled with stress and anxiety not knowing if I'm going to keep my job, pay my rent, eat.
And then you have people who have a kid and don't even think about the future. This is not the XX century anymore. If I were a kid born now I would loathe my parents for their selfishness.

2020.07.04 13:18 dkqchen9 What's the difference between a display box and a normal box?
I'm looking at the sale going on in ygoblackmarket but I noticed that they're selling a "display" item as opposed to the normal. What's so different about it? Thanks in advance to whoever answers!

2020.07.04 13:18 Florreke My stepmum's invasion
English is not my first language so I'm really sorry for the spelling mishaps
So I have devorced parents. I sometimes am at my dad's home and sometimes at my mum's. One week when I was younger I was at my dad's. My dad has a new girlfriend she was nice when they where first together but when she had a second kid me and my brother and sister became the Cinderellas of the family my sister quickly decided to live with my mum but my brother and I did not. My stepmum is really mean to me but I was the bigger one (figuratively not literally) and just let her be her and when something happend I just went to my room to not get in a fight.
My stepmum took over the whole house she put al her clothes in my brother's room until he decided he wanted another room cause he hadn't enough space so he took a much smaller room. My stepmum's stuff also stood in my room. There where babyclothes everywhere. One time I needed to clean my room and because it was already really clean and my stepmum pissed me off that morning I was so mad that I first screamed my lungs out (I was home alone) and after that took al the boxes with babyclothes and babybeds and my stepmum's teenageclothes to the ground floor. It took me an hour because I needed to take them down to stairs and I'm really small. When my dad and stepmum where back home a stayed in my room.
My dad got angry because he didn't like the way I did it but I was proud of myself because I stood up to one of the most evil persons in my life.

2020.07.04 13:18 Yelebear WSIB- Ghost Recon Wildlands or Remnant from Ashes
It's going to be played duos coop online with a friend.
I see Remnant being more universally loved and that's good, however it seems like it's shorter of the two.
And me and my friend are really looking for a game to play for 50+ hours.
So as long as it's not a total grindfest, if it provides 50 hours of decent above average enjoyment I would prefer it over 17 excellent hours of fun.
I'm not sure about Remnants replayability (hence the thread). I asked around and checked game timing sites and the general consensus was within 20 hours for the first playthrough, and maybe another playthrough but the further progression mechanic is only for unlocking weapons.
IDK. I'm trying to find a balance between fun and game length.
Other games that we are considering- State of Decay 2, Vermintide 2, Risk of Rain 2 (not really big on rougelikes, but I can be convinced).

2020.07.04 13:18 honeybee_hive The idea of my "inner child" makes me want to hurt myself. I can't stand it.
I can't even type "inner child" without feeling immense shame and embarrassment. I want her to die. I deserved every damn thing that happened to me in my childhood. I have no sympathy for my inner child, and the fact that my therapist wants me to do inner child work makes me sick. It literally makes me want to cut myself.
I don't know if I'm going to take my therapist up on it or not. The more I read about it, the worse I feel.

2020.07.04 13:18 IthihasVarma What are each MBTI Type's favorite conversation topics?
ENFP — Changing the world, their newest art project, or the next in a long line of GoFundMe projects whose mediocrity has done nothing to dampen the ENFP’s spirits.
ENTP — Any argument will do, as long as they can pretend they know what they’re talking about.
ISFJ — People, baby names, they love to rant about injustice.
ISTP — Cars, trucks, tools, or the latest thing they built or fixed.
ISTJ — Rules they made, schedules they made, plans they want to implement.
ISFP — Feelings, art, or something really shallow because they don’t trust you with their feelings.
ESFP — Fashion, celebrities, parties they’ve been to, the crazy things they’ve done, and all their friends. Did I mention all their friends?
ESTJ — Criticizing their boss, politicians they don’t like, and other countries, as well as their latest home improvement offensive.
ESTP — They’ll talk, but mostly they want to be doing something, usually while telling of their past exploits in vivid detail, with reenactment.
ESFJ — Clothes, family, friends, whoever they’ve ever met, recipes, and the occasional guilty bit of gossip.
INTJ — The deeper meanings in the Dark Knight or Edward Scissorhands, German philosophers, or their latest Death Star design and which government they will use it on first.
INTP — Cool gadgets and the opaque equations behind them, the latest chemistry textbook they’ve read, and how they figured out this morning that people want you to take out your earbuds when they talk to you.
ENFJ — Schoolwork, plans for the future, their favorite charity foundations, and green startups and how you can get involved.
ENTJ — Their plans for world domination (the obligatory answer), the entrepreneur they most admire, the latest borderline unethical business practice they came up with, and their 27 step plan to a hostile takeover of Facebook.
INFJ— You and your emotional state, the emotional state of everyone they know, and their plan for how someone else they know can become a better person while actually sideways preaching to you.
INFP — Books, stories, myths, legends, their dreams, other people’s dreams, but most of all the book they’re going to write, and how deeply moving the death of the love interest is going to be, and…
This one is more humorous than some of my others, but I hope it’s entertaining to you guys, as well as accurate.
Let me know what you think in the comments below!

2020.07.04 13:18 cricketindex New Boglehead. What happened to Index Fund investors in the 2000 and 2008 crisis?
I come from a family that has traditionally seen stock markets as gambling. Since watching John Bogle videos few months ago and after my fair share of research, I started investing in Index Funds exactly one month before the market crash happened.
I haven’t stopped investing during the last three months. I am a little anxious. I plan to invest for every month for at least two decades. Should I continue investing even if the market crashes by 50-70%?
